This handwoven study comes from my Dio double cloth fabric design. Inspired by LEGO blocks and how small rectangular elements can make beautiful structures these studies, handwoven in fine wool, show the correlation with weave’s building block of yarn, carefully built up through the process of hand weaving to produce  a beautiful, complex weave structure and design.
