Dragon Scales Small Weekender

The intricate colour-play in this weekender was inspired by dragon scales and fairy tales.  A fun, yet sophisticated accessory for those at one with their inner child.

A bright, contemporary small weekender perfect statement bag for a night away or used as an oversized handbag.

The fabric was woven in the studio on a traditional hand loom using a double cloth structure to allow for the wide selection of coloured yarns in the cloth, all balanced harmoniously to create the final cloth.

Hopipola’s statement fabric was beautifully transformed by a Manchester Micromanufacturer, Handcrated by Taylor’s, using yellow leather to complement the design and ensure the longevity of this one-off Hopipola piece.
